Feed aggregator

I'm working on a social media app. I need to track which posts a user has already seen so I can hide or deprioritize them in the feed.

If I created user_seen_posts tables, the database will large as users scroll my social media. Is there anyway to hide seen posts by using some algorithms or database schemas.
