Ask HN: Is working on AI NPCs with LLMs or RL models worth it?
Hi guys, i was working on making AI NPCs with LLMs and RL models, to create unique stories for the user, but this is a little far fetched. Is this problem even worth solving? challenges like revenue model, costs of inference and all that. To take an example goodai launched a game https://www.aipeoplegame.com/ , from the first appearances, there is not much we can do in this world. maybe we need a really big open world like GTA to make it a success, but still the question is will people want to play it?

How to move the mouse cursor fluidly with the keyboard only on Android 7
Hello to everyone.
I've virtualized Android X86 vers. 7.1.1 DarkMatter using bhyve on FreeBSD.
Please don't tell me to upgrade it to a newer version...because I like DarkMatter. And I also like to solve problems like that.
I have a problem to fix. Because some unknown technical reason,no mouse works while DarkMatter is working, but the keyboard works good. Instead, when It run physically on my PC,the mouse works.
But I want to run it virtualized while I use FreeBSD. Without a working mouse its hard to navigate between the menus. I'm not even able to click on top of any icon and press Enter.
So,I've thought : what about to use Tasker to move the mouse by pressing the arrows keys of the keyboard ? The left arrow key move the mouse cursor a little bit on the left of the screen and then stop. If it is pressed again,it moves it again a little bit and so on. The same should happen with the right, upper and down arrow keys of the keyboard that should simulate the corresponding mouse functions.
Regarding the left and right button of the mouse, they could be linked to two different keyboard keys, like a and d for example. Is this kind of script doable with Tasker ?
I've used Tasker sometime in the past, but not like a pro. For sure I hope that an Android app that does exactly what I've explained does exists. I looked for it for several weeks but I didn't find it.
Can some one give me a general idea about how Tasker can do what I want ? (if it can). Or,do you know an Android app that do it out of the box ? Or...any other tool and solution to fix the problem ? For example ? Does exists a tool like barrier (or Synergy) for Android ?
